Who on the Fork could disagree with me, Waldbaum's in Mattituck is the worst place on the North Fork to go grocery shopping? The place is extremely dirty, old....crowded, they have limited produce and food items, the lines are always too long as there is never enough cashiers. Generally, employees are not super friendly.....the list goes on and on and on.
The worst is accepting that you have to go the grocery store and really don't want to. So, you muster up the gumption to go and so you do. You pull into the parking lot and there aren't a lot of great parking options (no shit). The car gets parked as far away from your point of destination in hopes of sparing it a ding or too.....oh did I mention...the parking spaces are hardly wide enough to fit a "Smart Car." The entire Mattituck food shopping experience sucks hands down....any takers?

I wonder if Dickerson's Marine store is still in business. I bought a Glastron fiberglass runabout around 1967 at Eugene Dickerson's store there on the highway
